Celebrate Thanksgiving with a Swing at the Barn

Hey there all you now happily stuffed birds. Come join the Hog Heaven Big Band this Saturday, November 26, at Uniontown's famous Dahmen Barn for the best big band swing music on the Palouse. Dance lessons available downstairs at 6 and the Big Band kicks off the classics upstairs at 7:30. $5 for singles, $8 for couples - cheep (oops, someone might have had chicken instead of turkey), cheap - children under 12 (years, not inches) get in free. Bring the whole family. We'll see you there.

Upcoming Rehearsals

The band will rehearse on Nov 14 and 21 7:30 -9:00 PM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Moscow.

Swingin' halloween at the Barn

Ghosts, Goblins and Swinging Dance Fanatics - the Hog Heaven Big Band will be boiling in the Dahmen Barn in Uniontown, Washington, this coming Saturday, October 22, with the greatest big band swing dance music on the Palouse. The magic begins at 7;30 with dance lessons available before. Only $8 for a couple, $5 for a single and no charge if you're under 12 (years of age, that is).

Farmer's Market Concert

The band performs at the Moscow Farmer's Market on Saturday, September 17, 9:30 AM to noon. This is one of our favorite gigs. We love to get the crowd moving, Come help us swing the Palouse!

Swing Devils Celebration

The Hog Heaven Big Band will be kicking off the school year with the Swing Devils' September 1st dance party at the famous CJ's Ballroom - the only remaining floating dance floor in the Palouse - right here in downtown Moscow, Idaho. Dance lessons start around 8 and the Big Band cranks it up from 9 to midnight. Come on down to the best dancing venue in town - thanks to the Swing Devils, and Phil and Shelly Roderick, CJ's proud proprietors. No "Barn Dance" in May

HHBB will not play at the Dahmen Barn on May 28, because this is Memorial Day Weekend, and many folks will be traveling. Our next dance will be at the barn on June 25. Other gigs are in the works, so stay tuned.

Hog Heaven Swings the Dahmen Barn this Saturday
